This course enables delegates to understand tree caring procedures and how to reduce owner’s liability of unhealthy trees. We will explain a five-step approach in simple language to demystify your obligation, enable you to better understand how to mitigate tree risks and avoid paying high cost if a tree failure occurs unfortunately.

    • Trees and Shrubs association

  • Regular checking – what and why to watch

    • Walk-by inspection

    • VAT by professional

  • Assess Tree risk & its basic techniques

  • Understand the liability of the property management to maintain the tree safety

  • Mulching and Maintenance

    • Basic: Watering, Mulching, Soil Treatment

    • Advance Techniques: Resistograph, Sonic Tomography, Soil Spade

  • Pruning

  • Tree Inventory system

 

Part II

On site Visual Tree Assessment

Trainer: Certified Arborist

He is the member of the American International Tree Association (ISA). He has many years of experience in arboriculture, examining trees and tree risk mitigation measures. He developed tree inventory and data management system for many organisations. He has also been invited by a number of property management companies and HKPC as a course instructor. His clients include but not limit to: New World Group, Sun Hung Kai Property, Kerry Property Management, Chun Woo, Heng Seng Management University.

Certificate

Delegates who successfully complete this course and have 80% attendance will be issued a Certificate of Attendance.
