In line with international trends to promote corporate social responsibility, Hong Kong based companies face increasingly stringent requirements for reporting on environmental and social impacts of their business. Appendix 27 of the Listing Rules of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (“HKEx”) for example contains an Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide (ËSG Guide”) that is now fully effective. ESG reporting should not be approached as a check box exercise or an activity of disclosure for disclosure’s sake. This one day course will assist participants to develop and deliver sustainability messages in support of their business objectives. It will explain the HKEx ESG Guide and offer practical tools for preparing ESG reports.

Who Should Attend

The workshop is intended for corporate sustainability/compliance managers who are involved with ESG reporting and other executives who want to know more about the implications of ESG reporting for their business. It is appropriate for representatives of companies that are new to ESG reporting as well as those that are more established in the reporting process, including listed companies and their supply chain partners.
